Tanja Rudez works as a science journalist for Jutarnji list, a leading Croatian daily newspaper. After receiving her diploma in Physics from the University of Zagreb (Croatia), she worked as a Physics professor at the Aeronautic technical school "Rudolf Perisin" in Velika Gorica, near Zagreb. During this period, she also collaborated as a freelance science journalist at the Vjesnik newspaper and various other magazines - Danas, Svijet, Banka, Pecat and Beatta.  

In 1998, Tanja accepted the position of science journalist at Jutarnji list, the first Croatian daily newspaper in private ownership. From 2000 until 2008, Tanja was a science editor for Jutarnji list. She is also author of two popular science books: “Miroslav Radman: The Man Who Knocked Down the Genetic Wall” (2003) and “Nikola Tesla: Researcher, Inventor and Genius” (2006).
